We love escaping to the outdoors
I have been camping since I was a small child and have always enjoyed time outdoors, especially on the lake! Cathy and I got our boys hooked on camping early and enjoyed camping with them while they lived at home. (We even had some of our favorite trips to the beach in our camper!) We like to think we are pretty good hosts, with plenty of food, fun, and fire. We look forward to using our love of the outdoors and experience camping to make your trip memorable and relaxing.

How much is delivery?
Delivery depends on your destination and starts at $275. That includes delivery up to 25 miles and setting up the camper. It also includes taking down the camper and emptying the waste tanks at the end of your trip. It really is a “True Getaway.”
Update March 2022: With gas prices quickly increasing, there may be a fuel surcharge for your delivery.
How do I get my deposit back?
Our goal is for our campers to come back in great shape and to give you every penny back! You will get info at booking to help you make sure you know everything you need to about the camper. We release deposits within 48 hours if there is no damage.
What does renting a camper look like?
Want to rent a camper from Getaway Camping?
1. Pick out your camper: Check out the models we offer under the "Campers" button on the navigation bar.
Give us some details about your trip (budget, destination, number of campers) and we can make recommendations- we have years of camping experience that we want to use to your advantage!
2. Booking is a breeze: The first step is locking in your reservation with a deposit.
Once you have a reservation, we will email you a Rental Agreement and info on how to operate the camper. The final balance and security deposit are due before your trip.
3. Show up and enjoy your Getaway!
If we are delivering it, the camper will be delivered on time, set up, and cleaned for your use, along with any add-on's like a generator, linens or firewood. If you are towing it, we provide everything you need, including detailed instructions, and ensure the camper is hitched safely. We will show you how to work all of the camper systems. (Orientation can take up to an hour if you have never used a camper before.) When we leave, you will have contact information in case you have questions during your stay.
4. Pack up and head home.
We also handle all of the work after your trip- you just have to sign off and go! We will take the camper down, clean it, and empty the tanks. Your security deposit will be returned within 48 hours.
We rent for Acworth, Dallas, Cartersville, Woodstock, Canton, Kennesaw, Marietta, Blue Ridge, Ellijay and Blairsville.
Popular destinations include Lake Allatoona, Red Top Mountain, Clark Creek, Sweetwater, McKinney, Payne, Allatoona Landing, the North GA mountains and Georgia State Parks like Fort Mountain, Vogel and Unicoi. We also love working with horse shows at Chatt Hills and the International Horse Park.
